The fourth factor is what pushes it. A bar nobody touches on a stand nobody bumps has nothing moving it, while a bar sitting where a cable gets tugged or a cat walks will travel regardless of its feet.

Diagnose What Is Actually Moving It
Before sticking anything on, work out the direction and the trigger. A bar that creeps forward over weeks is a different problem from one that shifts when you touch the stand.
Forward creep usually means cable tension. The HDMI or power cable exits the back, gets pulled slightly every time something moves, and walks the bar toward you a fraction at a time. Adding slack solves that without any pads.

Non-slip shelf liner
Cut a strip slightly narrower than the bar so it stays invisible from the front. Nothing sticks to the soundbar at all, which matters if you expect to resell it, and it grips glass better than bumpers do.
A riser or a shelf with a lip

Do not block the ports or vents
Pads belong at the corners of the underside, clear of any vent slots or recessed connectors. Covering a vent on a bar with an internal amplifier traps heat it was designed to shed.
Do not tape it down as a first move
Double-sided mounting tape works and it is genuinely hard to reverse, often taking finish with it. Try friction before adhesion.
Do not push it tight against the TV base

Do not ignore a stand with play in it
